Hear Here–Cloud Nothings ‘Attack On Memory’
The 90s revival is alive and well in 2012, and Cloud Nothings is here with Attack On Memory to make sure angsty alt-rock, grunge-style, doesn’t get passed over. Just listen to the crunch of the guitars. Dig the coarse-ground vocals that somehow lend emotion to lyrics that often profess indifference. And all of it done with a knack for sticky melodies that hold the whole thing together. Hell, these guys even enlisted Steve Albini to record the album. Teenage angst continues to pay off well.
Attack On Memory is out January 24 via Carpark. Check it out here.
