Portland, Oregon’s Rabbits lay down some seriously grimy metal with growling-ass attitude to spare. On their latest, Lower Forms, they dig deep into the low end, mixing sludge and punk into a kick-your-ass cocktail of metal served straight up your ass. With its raw, in your face production and its tightly wound riff attack, the album comes off a bit like Bleach-era Nirvana covering Clutch by way of the Melvins. This is your metal weekend–dig it!
